Random Update... :)

So I haven't posted in a while so I thought I would do a little update. It 18 days till my birthday!! ;D So I wanted to show you my new leggings an update on my bleached 'galaxy' leggings, also some designs I did in art during Year 9 and then just some random pictures from May...
The first pair I did myself. It is my D.I.Y Bleached leggings that I recently added paint to, so that I can have one bleached pair and one more 'cosmicy' pair.
The second pair are from Ark- it is a shop in York but also has an online shop. I love these leggings, they are soft, colourful and nicely fitted, the only thing I would say is they are very low rise. But still nice :)

Here are some designs and things I did in Year 9. I have now finished Year 9 and when I go back after the half term I will be in Year 10 and will be continuing art :).

Now I thought I would show you some of my favourite quotes....

And here one of my favourite pictures that I have taken at Blyth beach....

New Lipstick's + Some Perfume I love...

I just wanted to share with you two new lipsticks I have recently bought and some of my favourite perfumes.
This one: Coral In Gold is from Rimmel. I love this colour, it is a very sheer colour but it builds up very nicely. Its quite creamy, as in it nourishes your lips so it does feel like your lips are really moisturised. It lasts all day and it smells nice as well. Its a really nice coralie orange.

This one from: Cyber from Mac is a VERY dark purple in the tube, but it comes off on the lips a lot lighter. It is a matte lip colour which I am really liking that look at the minute. I do think you have to be careful how you wear it because you can come out looking a bit depressed? I also think this colour goes better with light hair rather than dark but that is my opinion.

These are a few of my favourite perfumes... I also love Marc Jacobs: Daisy and Calvin Klein: CK In 2 U but I have ran out of both :(.

This one I have been given and repurchased for about two or three years now: DKNY Be Delicious. I love this one so much because it smells like apples :). It is such a fresh and fruity fragrance, its good for the summer. It is a long lasting perfume and very young and fun.
This is my second bottle of: Britney Spears Fantasy. I love the smell it smells like oranges so it is also very young, fun and fresh. It lasts all day. When I spray it in my hair it lasts for up to two days (even when I have washed it!) I love this perfume and will keep repurchasing it for years.
This is a new perfume of mine: Avon Far Away Exotic. I think this is a more sophisticated but also sweet and sugary perfume. It is long lasting and quite cheap, it smells quite expensive but a lot cheaper.

Hope you like, tell me what you think :) Jelly Bike.

My first post: How I made galaxy/bleach leggings ;D

Hello! My name is Erin and I wanted to create a blog to show you how I make + style things, my art projects and also to tell you about things that I am loving or I have done. So I thought I would show you these leggings that I made, because I couldn't justify spending £50-£75 on a pair of leggings.
So to make these leggings I used bleach, water. I just used plain household bleach so nothing specially bought.

I put a tiny bit of bleach and mixed it with water, in a old spray bottle. Be sure to rinse the bottle before and after using.

After spraying with the bleach (I recommend doing it outside or in a well aired bathroom) I placed the leggings in a washing up bowl with water and fairy liquid for about an 1-2 hours. This was to try and remove the smell of chlorine from the bleach.

I then tried to add some paint, however it wasn't the right kind of paint so it faded off in the wash. So if you do want to add paint it must be a certain fabric paint. Also, I recommend when washing the leggings for the first two or three times alone as you don't want to the bleach to ruin any other clothes, but after that it should be fine.
I hoped this post helped as I was just experimenting when I made these. Please ask any questions and link pictures if you decied to try this ;D
